First Kenzie Rae Design

In my CTD (clothing & textile design) course this past spring, I had the opportunity to construct my first dress as a designer. I loved the creative freedom I had from choosing the entire design to the fabric I used. My concept can be seen in my sketches below, but to elaborate more, I wanted to make a ruffled sundress. My coral stretch taffeta fabric was the perfect material to make the ruffles and a breathable dress. The dress was fully lined as well.
