December Travel Destination...

ISRAEL!

This year my holiday travels will be taking me to nothing short of an amazing experience. I am going to Israel with the campus ministry I am apart of at UA called RUF (Reformed University Fellowship), who offered this program through the company, Passages.

I joined RUF last spring semester with my sorority little and best friend Kenzie, and we both serve on the leadership team this year. Kenzie will be my travel partner for this trip and we’ve been talking about this ever since we joined last spring, but now it’s finally here! We got our acceptances on last Sunday evening and were ecstatic to be chosen for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

I think it can be so difficult to find a strong faith community in college, but since joining RUF, I’ve been so grateful for the love and support I’ve seen from all of its attendees, interns and leaders. The goers of RUF and all leaders we have was the main reason for my want to be fully immersed in this ministry so shortly after joining them for Wednesday night large group worships.

While this will be a change of pace for my normal holiday explorations, I’m excited to travel to the Middle East during such a holy time of the year. Stay up to date with my exciting travel plans!
