Life Organization

If you know me well, you would know I check my planner at least once an hour, no lies. I have always been very committed to keeping myself organized with school, my job, and my social life and I couldn’t do it without the planner I’m sharing today.

I use a standard A5 planner that I ordered online last year from Kikki K. They’re having a 20 percent off promotion right now!

I love this color of pink it came in and the fact I could have my initials embossed on the cover. I didn’t love the inserts it came with, so I found City Girl Planners and ordered a weekly spread. Unfortunately, I can no longer find the exact package I ordered to link for you but here’s a look into my planner and the inserts I have below.

For every week day, I use the first vertical box to write in appointments, meetings, work schedule, etc. in order of occurrence for that day. The second box is reserved for my class schedule (due dates, exams, etc). The third and last box of the day is where I write my to do list. I also transfer my to do list every day to the notes section on my phone, just in case I’m out running errands and don’t have my planner with me. These to do’s are sometimes as simple as “laundry” or “clean”, but most times it’s a reminder of a Target run, a new blog post for Kenzie Rae or the Student Fashion Association, and anything else that would need my attention.

Regarding Saturday’s and Sunday’s I always have the football game time at the top of Saturday’s box. Sometimes I’ll work the morning of a gameday, so my work schedule will found beneath the game schedule. Sunday’s always have my class course written out with any assignments or studying that need to be completed before starting the new week.

It has taken me several years to find a layout in a planner that perfectly fits me, but right now these City Girl Planner inserts have completely covered every aspect of my schedule this year. Hopefully this encouraged you to find a system that keeps your life on the tracks, if you didn’t have one already!

XOXO,

Kenzie Rae
